Harvey

Harvey is an optional employee with Wildflower Counseling, LLC; meaning you are not required to have animal assisted therapy sessions and declining to have Harvey participate in your sessions will not impact the care you receive.

Harvey is a Goldendoodle, and he was born in March 2021. Goldendoodles are considered hypoallergenic and have low to no shedding; therefore, they are considered safe for even clients with allergies.

The name Harvey means “battle worthy” and this describes him perfectly. No matter what battles you have been through, are currently experiencing, or will face in the future; Harvey wants to make sure you know you are not alone, and he wants to be your support along the way. Even at such a young age, Harvey is eager and excited for this new role as he aims to comfort and please his humans.

As Harvey is still in training and learning his role as a therapy dog; he will not be invited into family or couples’ sessions at this time. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to invite Harvey into your therapy sessions please let Lindsey know.
