Hi, I’m Harvey!

I am Wildflower’s therapy dog in training and a certified expert in snuggling. I am an optional member of the Wildflower Counseling, LLC team, meaning clients are not obligated to include animal-assisted therapy in their sessions. Choosing not to have me involved in sessions will not affect the quality of care clients receive.

I am a Goldendoodle, born in March 2021. Goldendoodles are known for being hypoallergenic, making them suitable for clients with allergies. The name Harvey translates to “battle worthy,” and this perfectly speaks to my truth. Regardless of the challenges you have faced, are currently facing, or will confront in the future, I want you to know that you are not alone. I aspire to be your support throughout your journey. Whether through my excellent listening or snuggling skills, I want to help you heal through your battles. I am enthusiastic and ready to embrace my therapy dog role, aiming to provide comfort and joy to all my humans.

I have completed a majority of my therapy dog training and love my career with Wildflower Counseling. I have worked here since 2022. As I am “technically” still undergoing training and learning my “responsibilities” as a therapy dog, I am not allowed to participate in family or couples sessions at this time.

If you have any questions, concerns, or wish to have me snuggle you in you sessions, please contact your therapist.
