Hi, I’m Laura!

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, from Minnesota State University, Mankato and my Master’s in Arts of Counseling from Adler Graduate School. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota. I have experience assisting individuals and couples across the lifespan.

My therapeutic approach is centered on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and validated in their unique experiences. I focus on a strength-based approach and believe each person is the expert of their own experiences. I strive to cultivate a genuine and trusting alliance, allowing clients to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.

I use various modalities including dialectical behavioral techniques, acceptance and commitment, cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, EMDR, and internal-family system techniques to meet the needs of each client. I believe building a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance is key for clients to openly express themselves and embark on their unique journey of self- discovery and personal growth.
